Synesthesia is a neurological phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Synesthesia

For example, I associate January with a light blue/green color. February is a deep red with a slight purple tint. March is a bright green.

It's not just with months, but also people, places, objects, words, concepts, patterns of thought, numbers, letters, etc. All of these things invoke an abstract feeling of color in my mind. It also happens when listening to music where every instrument has it's own pulsation of color. I used to think that everyone was like this, until a friend showed me the wikipedia page. When I told him I have this, he thought I was crazy, but it's apparently pretty common. So I was just wondering if anyone here experiences this, and if so, please tell me your colors from 0-9.

Those are stupid colours for those months.

It's not something only a few people experience, it's a common thing.
And it's when one the firing of one sense invokes feelings of the others, like feeling sand and being reminded of a beach, so you hear waves in your mind.

Every month is black, and every wrist is razors.

I didn't say it was uncommon. Almost everyone could relate to your example. I'm just wondering if anyone else experiences color association with thought alone. Like for me, the number 4 feels orange and the number 5 feels blue. I don't know why those colors correspond to those numbers, it's just what my brain automatically does.

Sorry, I forgot to add in that your case doesn't seem typical. >.>

I haven't heard of that one before.

I hate you, I really, really do
I can smell food. Weird right? When I smell chicken, it's like a cooked chiken-y smell. People think I'm an autstic savant because of my skill.
