K so I just got a jury duty summon. Has anyone here ever had to slave through jury duty? I can't wait to have my life siphoned away.

I did mine right before Christmas once. I was there from 7-11am, and then they dismissed everyone.

I was called in to serve three times.. all three times I got out of it.. Mainly because my mother (who is in her mid 40s) has NEVER been summoned. I had to come up with a good reason why I couldn't, told them I was abused by my father.. which is true.

That and they would hurt my already weak paycheck.
