I do care, yes. Mostly because I respect a lot of the people here, and because the internet is just the logical extension of society if you subtract all the social patronising that happens IRL. So what happens is that the people you meet online are usually their true selves, whereas in person, there are so many more factors taken into consideration.

I'm just here to enjoy my time with interesting people. It'd be prefferable to me at least, to be held in friendly regard by others. Somebody, at least. Because it streamlines interesting interactions that aren't shitty.

I will likely never see any of you in person. And, I wouldn't put it past myself to remain mostly alone on my end of things for a fair portion of my life. Like it or no, you folks are the best I can currently do.

So, yes, I do to some degree. You people are all interesting and therefore, if I'm to ever have any sort of good relations then I should be presentable and up to par for it. A little bit of reputation goes a long way.

i care a lot about what people online think about me. i try very hard to be well liked and i avoid controversial bullshit. beyond that, i just act like myself online (moreso than i do in real life, actually).

My online persona is no different than my real one. I don't make distinctions between people I know online and in real life. So I care as much about my online persona as I do my real one.
