Do you take orders better from a man or woman?

Which gender do you find yourself listening to more, a male or female?

To me, I feel like I listen to men more, but at the same time I have the moment of a competitive feel where I'm look "who the hell are you to tell me what to do"

That being said, I listen to women, but not as much. Like when comparing my mother and father.

How about you?

Just being honest. Don't see what possible difference it could make for me. If someone is competent then I can follow them easily. If they're not I can't.

Now if you're talking about two equally competent people, who's only difference is gender, then I probably wouldn't care. Whatever accomplishes the given task most effectively.

Gender rarely plays a part in it (if at all). However if I was forced to choose I would say females.

I suppose if you had a gun to my head I'd say the man since there would be a higher chance of being able to relate and think alike. Though that's not guaranteed, and if they're both equally competent then the difference at the point would be negligible enough to not matter.

Plenty of other factors that would be much more important.
