The dark. A few nights ago I tried walking down country roads at 3AM but I backed out. The sight of the roads descending into darkness is terrifying.A shame, too, since I've just witnessed the Milky Way and shooting stars for the first time. I was hoping to go into the dark to get away from the light pollution so I could have a somewhat decent view of our Galaxy.
