That's a very, very good question. To answer honestly? No. I don't. I don't feel valued. I don't feel loved. And I feel very much alone, and on my own. Like a walking pile of garbage that's worth nothing.

But I understand that it's not the case. I don't feel loved or valued. But I understand that just because I don't feel like it doesn't make it so.

I don't know if that constitutes as a yes or a no to your question. No I don't feel valued, yes I understand that I am?

Pretty much this. People like me more than I like myself, so sometimes i act oblivious to kind/thoughtful gestures of others.

I picked sometimes though. Most of the time i feel unnoticed by people, but when i am, I hardly pick up on it.

You know the reality: you have value, you matter.
But you just don't feel it.

I'm the same way, but it comes to me every once in a while. Every once in a while, I'll just sink and feel worthless. And it sucks because I KNOW I'm valued, I KNOW IT! But I can't stop that feeling.

And my job doesn't give me value. Because it doesn't care who I am, what I want to do with my life, I'm there to toil away and get some meager restitution (money). It gets my mind off things, but it doesn't make me feel important.

Ehh. I would like to say yes but not really. At work I fell abused and used. With my family more like an ATM or butler and with friends like the person you go when you need help but no one can know.
