It never comes up in conversation so there's no need to. If there were a need, however, I'd explain that I never really think about there not being a god, it's just an internalized sentiment and I focus on other things. The God debate seems like a pointless waste of time to me.

I do in every conversation. If they say nothing I condescend to them, because my intellect is vastly superior to theirs. If they object, I lower the brim of my fedora menacingly, open my trench coat to reveal my katana and ask if they are ready to meet their phony sky god. If they say they're one too, then usually I ask them who their waifu is.

Like other people have been saying, I don't typically announce such things unless I'm asked, or if the subject comes up.

But yeah, it's easy enough to just say no if I'm asked if I believe in God.
