Sometimes, I hate it. Dealing with 20+ Alzheimers and dementia patients when its just you and another CNA is rough. You get pinched, yelled out, having to direct people who JUST WENT TO THE BATHROOM back into the bathroom so they can go "peeps." Who wouldn't get frustrated. But, at the end of the day they are all dry, groomed and fed. Its satisfying work.

I enjoyed my job immensely when I started. Then that feeling gradually diminished over the months, and I grew to resent my job. I looked for other restaurants to work at.

Then I had several great days (including today) where I did really well. Made good money, didn't get overwhelmed with needy customers. I got super busy at one point but it wasn't too much.

So right now.........I don't enjoy "going to work". But once I'm there, it's not as bad as it used to be. I don't love it, but I don't hate it.

I don't think many people enjoy their work, they just stress it and get the day over.
