It's very easy for people to think of things they hate in life, like their job or school.
But on the whole, or just with something specific, do you enjoy life?

At the moment? No. I'm still stuck in that rut. It's my all too common tendancy to expect the worst of everything. And some of those notions run deep, for whatever reason. It's something I have trouble explaining to people beyond myself.

Because to me it feels like intution talking. But every now and then I question it. Maybe it's my warped sense of view that's saying it. So, no. I don't enjoy my life when I actively observe it. Which is why I partially coast through it in a dead state of apathy half the time.

I'm just barely comfortable with being uncomfortable.

Doesn't mean that I'm not trying though. But it does feel pointless and useless. All of it. No matter what I do or where I go there isn't anything that I look at that brings any spark back. But, it's like a particular doc told me. No sane person in my shoes wouldn't be depressed.

So at least I know I'm not just a failure in that regard. Toss anybody else in my place and they'd falter too.

The important thing though, is whether or not I fail now that I know the way of things. If I do, then the only person I will have to blame at that point would be little old me. So, here I am. Giving it a try.

Not really. Mostly because everything is always on a very fine line of going wrong when it hasn't actually gone wrong yet.

No, I'm being a teacher just because I couldn't find any other career two years after college. It's whatever though. Have to have some career otherwise I'm just a waste. Maybe I'll enjoy it.

Yup. Can't find a reason to hate it if you ignore the day-to-day stresses of normal life.

It can always get better of course, but it's not bad where I'm at currently.

My life has its ups and downs, but right now I consider myself very fortunate to have the friends and family that I do.

I go to a great school, have a great job, am really healthy, and see a bright future for myself.

So yeah, I'm pretty happy right now. Some things I'd like to improve on (There always will be), but overall I'm A-okay.

I get to spend time w/ my great friends and girlfriend,

and besides that, I get to do things I love to do whenever I want, and stuff soit's all good

As a friend of his I wish he would lighten up and enjoy life for what it is but I get the sense it's impossible for him to do so.
