No. I wouldn't go anyway. Call me a Terra Firma supporter if you will.

But, what I figure, expansion will occur. If any of that research about a few of our gas giant's moons goes well, and Curiosity finds some good evidence on Mars, then we've got a chance for a few colonies in our system.

But things will start to get sketchy once we try to go beyond our system if we don't have a way to break or bend the lightspeed barrier.

I's imagine that we might let the public go to the moon (obviously not a planet) before I die, and I'd love to do it if I had enough cash. But any planet for the public? Not for at least another 200 years.

Possibly. Technology is advancing at an alarming rate and it isn't out of the question we could have a permanent Mars settlement in the next couple decades.
Also don't forget that lifespans could be increased by a large number if another breakthrough is made.
