It comes as a result of telling me that I can't do something that I know I can do.

No one's saying anything about watching the entire series. There comes a point where it's just like... "okay, this is OBVIOUSLY not going to get any better."

That's usually by, like, the fifth episode. If a show can't hold my interest beyond the fifth episode, it's a terrible show.

So if it's been established that you just plain don't like anime, never will and nobody really cares that you won't, why continue? Unless you have so much free time as to waste on proving a point to people who don't give two flying fucks about a medium that you already hate, in which case I'd suggest finding employment/further education.

Like I already said. You really only need to watch a few episodes of something in order to determine if it's worth watching. If a show doesn't start getting interesting until episode 743, then it's a fucking shitty show.
