Then you start going forward by transitioning the thrust rearward slowly until you have sufficient airspeed to fly like a normal aircraft. You'll get about a 5000ft ceiling by just hovering, and maybe 5 minutes (really generous estimate) of hover time before you absolutely need to obtain flight speed and pull back on the throttle before you overtemp your engines.
