You have motherfuckers throwing Star Destroyers out of the air and the best thing this "Legend of a Jedi" can so is spin a fucking giant frisbee and throw it at Palpatine? Then for Palpatine in Dark Empire the guy created storms with the force that are large enough to destroy entire fleets. Cannon or not for when Dark Empire came out we seen the force doing godly things in the movies, games and books so you would think a battle between two force masters would be epic. So far for the movies there are no Jedi battles that just uses the force to duel. The sabers are still the main thing and the force is just something thrown in on the side to distract the person so you can cut them down.

The thing that bothers me the most is that in the original trilogy, both Palpy and Yoda were shown to be presumably above the use of a lightsaber.Palpatine refers to Luke's as a 'Jedi Weapon', presumably because he's so OP with his Force abilities

Yoda and Palpatine should be so strong that they never even have to pull out a lightsaber, or even move around to fight. We see a little bit of that in RotJ with Palpatine's 'battle meditation' or whatever is canon now; he can win huge battles from the comfort of his throne room just by willing it to happen.
