You can finish the game, the mod just adds the unused files that are already on the disc (such as the HK Factory, etc).

I mean kotor 2 has the whole big "restore content mod" that was cut from the game but its not necessary. It just adds mostly endgame content to wrap up some character stories

the prequels aren't really film...

they're more like motion gospel
