Whine and bitch when we have no front - door security associates.

Whine and bitch when we get security associates by saying they're being persecuted when asked for a receipt.

Who else has fun stories about customers?

See you Cowgirl,
Someday, somewhere
Yes.

Okay so this one time my brother and I were walking into a Walmart and right in front of us was a big puddle of water with a few caution signs. We then saw this really fat woman literally walk up the the puddle, 'trip' and then start crying. When the staff and manager came to her aid she was screaming about how she was gonna sue Walmart and be on the news. She even made them bring her a wheelchair even though she wasn't hurt. It was around this time my we left so I never knew what happened after that.

Pretty fucking normal.   A guy called once complaining about an injury he got three months before. He was going to go to court, so Walmart gave him hush money.   They will cut their own noses off for the silliest shit.

Had a customer come in once who was obviously homeless. She was trying to buy a portable dvd player. Felt really sorry for her, but couldn't help thinking, "If you have the money for a DVD player, why u no has money for new clothing?

Sorry for the greentext, but it's the easiest way to tell a story.

>working at a sub shop
>customer comes in and starts pointing randomly at the huge menu behind me
>I ask her what she wants
>she points to her throat and opens her mouth wordlessly
>I get that she's some kind of mute
>I hand her a paper menu and a pen
>she starts scribbling all over the back of it in unreadable handwriting
>I tell her that I can't read it and suggest she circle what she wants
>she angrily shakes her head and continues to write illegibly all over the back of the menu
>I tell her again that I have no idea what she's writing
>she furiously storms out
>I see her go to her car and get someone who was sitting in the passenger seat the whole time
>he comes inside, pissed off
>he tells me I'm an insensitive asshole
>manager steps in and gives them a free meal
>I get dragged to the kitchen and yelled at

Fucking worst job ever. Shit like that happened all the time.

Sucks hard man.  I've got a deaf guy that comes in and he's pretty chill with Customer Service not understanding him.  I just whip out my phone and type something in Notepad to let him read.

Managers suck balls when it comes to customer service.  Completely disregarding all rules of logic just to make their bottom line.  SCREW MAKING SURE THE EMPLOYEES ARE HAPPY AS WELL.

You probably should've called someone over to help you figure out what it says before she stormed out.
You should've seen the handwriting, man. It was like someone literally had a seizure as they were writing it. What I want to know is why she didn't just either circle what she wanted on the menu, or actually bring in the guy who could've ordered for her. I guarantee you the manager would have had no fucking idea what to do if he was in my shoes. I thought I handled the whole situation pretty well, but that's what I get for working in fast food at the time.

That's why I'm saying you probably should've called someone over before she stormed out. Chances are, you would've gotten out of the situation much easier and the manager would've been more understanding.
Eh, I didn't know she was going to go batshit. I could've called someone over, but my manager hated it when cashiers did that, and I'd probably get chewed out for doing that, too. That was my first job, actually. It was incredibly shitty.

One of my friends works at a fast food chain.
He told me that he had this couple come in one time, there was a kid with them. The couple told my friend they needed to go to the shop next door, so they'd be back for their food when it was done.
My friend said ok and the couple paid, then left, the kid followed.

About ten minutes later, the kid comes back in, the food is ready. The kid asks for the couple's order, saying his parents want him to bring it to them.
Kid walks out with the food.
A few minutes later the couple walk back in looking for their food. My friend tells them about 'their son' getting the food. They don't have children.

The little bollocks stood close to the couple and moved around in the store with them to make them look like they were together, then listened to them order their food so he could recite it back.
My friend couldn't have know until afterwards, but in the end the couple got their food and my friend wasn't really chewed out or anything, his boss understood after he explained what had happened.

Almost always, with moderation
Luckily I have never dealt with horrible customers, all the ones that come to where I work are decent, and most have good manners.
