To enable a custom nameplate, please do the following:

• Don't have a warning status
• Be Legendary or higher
• Enter the URL for the nameplate you want to use in your look and layout preferences
• Select "Imposter" as your active nameplate

tfw warning status and just got Legendary. :^(

So I take it you get Mythic at 7777 posts, since I got Legendary on my post #3000.
