Currently in Hospital: Had Appendix Taken Out

15 hours of no sleep and constant suffering & pain. Just got out of surgery an hour ago, and feeling little sore around the wounds. I really don't think I've ever felt this pain in my life. Picture a sharp knife stuck inside your abdominal area, the pain moving around everytime you walk or get up. So it's 10.00PM, I can't sleep and I'm hungry. Has anyone here had similar experiences or pain? It was quite unbearable ... I wish this on no one.

What under 2 hours? Hardly enough for the trauma I'm going through, plus the athesiac they gave me puts more liquid into my bladder... Making me feel even more sick... Why would you post about my sleep?

a button to call nurses yes but half the time I can't reach it... It's like having constant pain in the abdominal area... So any movement up when lying down is very painful.. Plus I'm sharing this room with 3 other people. A guy who won't stop talking, a snorer, and a dude who keeps moving around his bed making noises, and he's constantly eating chips very loudly with his stupid TV on.
