Take for example a lot of gay guys in the closet. They may have relationships with women, get married to them, have kids, and never have gay sex once in his life. He's still gay though, because he is forcing himself to engage in that relationship out of social stigma and wants to conform out of fear. He may never act on it, but he is attracted to dudes, and that's what matters. For your scenario though, one could assume that the person is at the very least bi if he holds an attracted to the person, maybe he just likes his prostate stimulated, there are straight dudes who get off to pegging.
