Could a Dragon Ball Z spinoff about Raditz, Nappa and Vegeta work?

It would be about them going off on missions that take place after Frieza destroys Vegeta up to the the point where Nappa and Vegeta land on Earth. The problem I see with this is the power scaling. If there's an enemy or a group of them that give Nappa a hard time they would rape Raditz. The same thing would happen to Nappa for an enemy that can give Vegeta a hard time. The only way I can see that problem being avoided is if there's a single strong enemy that Nappa or Vegeta fights.

DBZ is now a multiverse so Raditz and Nappa can be stronger than they were in the manga/anime.

That's probably the only way for this to work. Raditz could be Jeice who most likely is the utility fighter. Nappa would be Recoome due to his size and he would most likely be the most resistant. Then Vegeta would be the leader of the group.

Since it would take place in a different universe this Goku could have carried out his mission or do it with the group when they land. Then the series ends up being about them still doing missions but planning on taking out Frieza and his family for revenge and his empire.
