Mein lungs hurt. And I can't catch my breath. Very, very short of breath at the moment. Can't tell if it's from leftover infection, or the fact that I react rather badly to certain types of air. It doesn't feel damp. But it's not dry either. Can't pin it down.

That just means you have dignity and standards.

I'm demisexual.
Basically it means I'm kind of asexual until I've fallen in love with someone and become emotionally bonded.

What do I tell people when they ask my orientation then? Because I'm not gay or straight, and frankly I'm not exactly bi either.

The label works. It fits, and it makes sense to me. If you're telling me that I just don't have a sexuality then bugger off.

You're saying that you're this kind of orientation that isn't attracted to people, except when you meet someone you're interested in(attracted to), and that you're not attracted to other people? I don't see what's abnormal about that.

I used to tell people I was straight (and most of my family/friends probably think I am) but that eventually grew more and more unappealing once I realized it was weird for most people to be straight and not want a girlfriend or have sex.

It's not really a big deal in terms of "coming out" since it's a lack of doing/wanting to do something. But it is definitely a "for real" thing, yeah.

You're not alone. We both have it. It's called high functioning Autism now though. I had years of therapy as a child so it has become easier for me to empathize with others. I have trouble understanding sarcasm though and can't fully detect someone's body language until it's too late.

Well we are different. Where as you come of detached and cold, I'm the other way around. I'm nothing more but a emotional wreck, at least to people that are important to me. I also have trouble reading expressions. Sometimes I unintentionally hurt people just by being blunt honest with them. I feel like shit afterwards when they express how upset they are. Depends on the person honestly.
