True, but even then that number sits at around 25 deaths a year, while the US records a few thousand police custody deaths on a yearly basis, I believe.

Yeah, but of course there's going to be a difference of thousands between the US and a nation around the size of my state.

So I went to look at some state breakdowns... and that actually made the problem seem worse. Pennsylvania, as the 6th most populated state with just under 13 million people has had 36 people shot dead by police from January 2013 through July 2015. Compared to England's 53 million population and  3 shooting deaths, that's just awful.


I blame Philly.

This actually scares me because it means Europeans are too afraid to kill the bad guys... That means more evil people on the streets to murder and rape. I feel safer knowing our police are ready on the trigger.
