Maybe in a few years. These new age commercial jets practically fly themselves and can dp approaches and set glide slopes on their own, but I don't know how well autopilots can actually touch down for the landing at the moment.
They pretty much are already so yeah once the tech is there. I think having remotely controlled commercial planes is more likely to happen first though

The pilots is there for taking off landing and just in case something goes wrong.
