Aside from being a legendary martial artist and influential actor and filmmaker, I mostly admire his level of determination. He was easily one of the greatest athletes who has ever existed which came from hours of doing all different kinds of training every day.

I wouldn't know if there are any practical uses of natural psychedelics in our modern world, It would seem like an interesting thing to experience granted the after effects aren't that harsh. almost like looking through another lens of reality... with that being said, it could help spice up someone's day to day life.


psychedelics should be studied in depth, shit like DMT is really interesting and the fact that our body produces it at birth and near death suggests some practical use i guess

Medieval's such a weird time... most European military history doesn't get interesting until the 1600's and there's a big drop off of interest in Europe after classical antiquity (fall of west Rome) for me.

But, I gotta say that Caliph Uthman's conquest of Spain and the destruction of the Visigoth kingdom was a really neat campaign.
