Idiot or not, this'll just re-affirm other flat earthers regardless of what happens;

- He dies in the attempt/litho-braking: "Hurr Durr round earthers sabotaged it"

- He lives and gets to report back: "Hurr Durr the Earth wasn't round, checkmate", having never gotten anywhere near the height required to see the curvature of the Earth.
