There are loads of safe, physical labour-based jobs out there. I was working in landscaping last summer, laying bricks on a long-ass driveway. There's very little risk there.

The only jobs I've ever been able to take legally are stuff like janitorial stuff in certain institutions, and laborer work in construction jobs. Then again, different province.
