I'm watching Zeta Gundam, and plan on watching ZZ Gundam, Char's Counterattack, and Gundam UC

Miura is a hack that has trouble adapting anything with a little bit of depth. See the botchjob that was KnK 6 or the character development on UBW. Don't expect the HF movie to be any better in that department under him.

That being said it's probably the best adaptation we'll get out of F/SN. You need all three parts to get a complete story and it was written in a time where people were taking advantage of their medium instead of trying to write in an anime adaptation friendly manner in hopes that some producer somewhere will pick it up.

bruh, i get it. "filthy secondary" and all that. not sure if ill watch the movies or not though. UBW kinda killed all my interest. unless you host them during anime nights, i dont think im gonna seek them out.*

I was agreeing with you and talking about how Miura is a shitty director. It's a good adaptation if you've read the source material since you'll notice some of the subtler stuff and be able to fill in the blanks that Miura left out. If you're a secondary though your mileage will vary. Reactions have been pretty mixed to it from that crowd raging from best thing ever to "it's shit". I don't want a Hollow Ataraxia adaptation if Miura is directing it because it's even more character focused than F/SN and he's proven he can't direct character based stories.

Ufotable as a whole though has been getting really sloppy lately though. You can see it in the later half of UBW and definitely in God Eater. It's like they've reached the point where they know they can make a profit based on name recognition alone so they don't really care anymore.

i did notice some of the fights werent as crisp as the starting Saber/Archer/Berserker fight.
that fight was awesome. not sure that i see it in God Eater yet.

I recently finished History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi. Overall it's really good, but jesus christ, the fan service in it is cringeworthy as fuck. And there's a loooooooooooot of it.

it was cute, just your normal SoL with some comedy.

I'm watching Ore Monogatari, Gintama, Sakura Trick (again) and Toradora at a request.

I'm planning to watch Joukamachi no Dandelion. That one looks fun.

Was quite good. If a bit sad. Would recommend.

Also watched Beyond the Boundary and Little Witch Academia: Enchanted Parade. Kyoukai no Kanata was good up until the ending. A bit over done there. One too many loops on the roller coaster, but I still liked it overall. Really liked Enchanted Parade. Would definitely recommend both of those movies if anyone hasn't seen them.

Dunno what I'll start next. Got a massive list, but kinda in burn out mode now. Will probably give Gangsta a go eventually...maybe.

First, your favorite anime is always shit. Why? Because opinions are like assholes, everybody had one. There is no universally liked anime. Get over it.

That being said, if you dislike an anime and start laying into it you better be sure you know what you're talking about. Otherwise the people who like it have every right to call you an idiot and disregard your opinion.

There are only three that I can think of that I actually don't like; How Death Note goes after the big justasplanned, SAO when it turns to lewd and HOTD for pretty obvious reasons.

Fan Service is enough of a reason on it's own for me to ditch a show/dislike it, but since I'm picky about what I watch in the first place I generally like everything I watch <_<

But yeh this is obvious, if someone dislikes something I like it's the end of the world and I have to sperg out at them but I agree all the same.

Second, don't be a secondary. Read your source material of you can. If you're going to be a secondary anyway don't get upset when a primary corrects your wrong statements.

Elitism is never a good thing, I honestly don't give a flying fuck if people have watched/read/listened to versions of something that I haven't. VNs are a pain to read and Mangoes look terrible with LED backlighting. So unless I can actually obtain the real thing bookwise, like the F/0 book, or a physical mango it's unlikely I'll read the source material. I wouldn't say I'd never bother with it, I didn't spend a week downloading the whole FSN VN for nothing, but it's just a pain to read because there is no telepathy clicking yet.

But that being said, I don't get salty if someone who's read the original shit points out that it's not the way it goes in the original.
