Canada is obscenely polite, but I wouldn't want to live there.It would be awful.
There really isn't that many "polite" people. Maybe it's from growing up here but there isn't too much of a difference from the USA. Maybe it's less arrogance? That's something I've noticed in a lot of Americans when they speak of their country.
