I can't say I've ever really seen them post such stuff that often, and I can't claim to have ever seen somebody outside the "perpetrators" defending it.

The worst thing I've seen on this site is genuine loli hentai from Chakas in Anarchy. That wasn't cool. A few pictures of non-nude, potentially-provocative loli drawings? Doesn't really bother me none.

Posting an image of a nude child? Again, that's not cool. Although it depends where you draw the line. You can have nude images of children without it being sexualised; although I don't thing genuine images of nude children should be allowed at all here and thank goodness they aren't.
