Six Months Sober

Really proud of this one, boys.

Alcohol has been the most destructive force in my life, and while I'm still paying for it, I can at least say it's finally under my own control.

I'm one of the few who experiences DT's long term, and knowing how far I've gotten since that last drink... I don't know how to describe it. I feel almost giddy writing this. I feel in control, conscious, and I'm loving every second of it.

I'm shit at processing time. Seems like fucking forever ago that you started the road to stopping. That is something to be proud about. Never really is easy to kick an addiction. Seems like you're doing great.

Glad you decided to push through it. Ya get a part of your life back and there's probably a lot you can do with that. Keep chuggin' buddy. (not the booze though)

Brother I'm glad for you. I've felt that physical withdraw two separate times in my life for a couple days each and I could not imagine living with it long term. You're a strong motherfucker, man. Best of luck forward.

I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy. Night-terrors, hallucinations, and seizures were consistent for the longest time. The difficulty of knowing what was real or not fucked me up for a long time, but I made it.

+2 years sober, never got drunk in my life. Booze was never really my thing.

I remember when everyone from school turned 18 they all went crazy for 🍺🍸🍷 and got wasted every weekend.
