"flaming nipple chops"-Your host, the man they call Ghost.

To say, 'nothing is true', is to realize that the foundations of society are fragile, and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization. To say, 'everything is permitted', is to understand that we are the architects of our actions, and that we must live with their consequences, whether glorious or tragic.
What solution is there to this? There is nothing peaceful........to be honest we just have to start killing anyone related to Isis....but then what do we become.

What can be done with this? It's a noxious weed that won't do away for a long time.
You become the killers of ignorant, out of control murderers. Simple, really.

You either do nothing and put up with massacres as the extremism runs its course, or you treat it like an illness and try to cure it prematurely.
Cutting out the cancer by killing thousands of would-be terrorists who just want to kill and die.....it still sounds....like murder, I know it will come to this and it's for the greater good of peace. But man, why does this happen? We were doing well for a while.
If they want to die for a cause it isn't murder, it's granting a request.

When were we doing good? ISIS never stopped existing, conflict never ended in this world of ours, you might've heard less of it but it sure never ended. Last I checked Sudan is still fighting.
Alright, next unpopular opinion. How do you feel about nuking the Middle East? Obviously a no no. But what would be the consequences to you in taking out a large section of this organisation.

I know nukes aren't the answer nowadays, so maybe coordinated strike raids across the middle east, something along this line, basically if we don't take action now, more innocent will die.
Well, duh. Nukes aren't something you throw on the table, especially not into the middle east with it being a geopolitical mess.

The real unpopular but most realistic option is an armed coalition against ISIS to take care of them. Then you're left with having to rebuild those regions in the Middle East they screwed up, to at which point I feel you might as well make them colonies/states/puppets, because they won't function on their own for a long time, if ever.

It doesn't matter what option you end up taking, innocents are going to die anyway. I really don't know enough about this stuff, the whole situation is too fucked for anyone other than a trained committee to make sense of.
What regions? Isis has basic holdings in northern Iraq and is competing with the Kurds for the relatively uninhabited parts of Syria.
This is why I added I don't know shit, but I like talking out of my ass at the end.

I imagine Iraq will still be messed up if IS is wiped out, and Syria would be in a similar situation too? But Russia wants involvement in Syria, so that would be a problem? Saudi or Iran or both, would probably get upset about something too, I guess?

I think, it would take people like us to make these decisions, politicians want to satisfy everyone a lot want to claim peaceful solutions, but now is the standpoint, we need to get people out of the middle east, those who want to live peacefully.....somehow, we need to weed out those of truth and those of injustice, then....as ironic as it sounds, kill the rest.

It'll leave a dark stain upon the world, but the major threat would be dead, just need to deal with the festering embers that are left....fuck this is starting to sound like a crusade. But there is now way anyone will come out of this 'clean'

If you want to go full crusade we could just kill everyone for God knows his own.

Realistically, I don't see every civilian wanting to leave the place, home is home. Not to mention the American/Western homeland is already going to be terrified of refugees in general at that point.

This pretty much was a full scale assault. They weren't holding for ransoms or spreading a message.

No I mean us, the Western world, pull together and really fight this thing full on, extra soldiers, artillery, munitions ect ect.

But in the Homefront as well, we need to stop letting anyone remotely associated with ISIS stay.....they need to go.

Read the thread. All I see is people spewing bigotry, hating on people for not getting angry (that's so retarded), and then just the occasional "cuck" which is honestly the most annoying part of this thread.

Nowhere on the sites, or here, has anyone linked something claiming it to be ISIS.

That doesn't work. First of all, unity would never happen.

Second, it'd just be the same guerrilla warfare we've seen in Iraq and Afghanistan. War in the 21st century is no longer conventional and you'll never see people directly go head to head anymore. It'd be a grinding, grueling process which would take decades for anything to happen. Nothing would happen though. There would be no "victory". It'd be more of an "Are we better off now than then?" kind of routine.

US made the mistake when invading Vietnam, Russia with Afghanistan, and US with Iraq again.

If you want to take them out, you better have a plan to put in a government too, and the US is about as effective in nation building as I am at DOTA.

Here just for you, go look for their Twitter accounts if you wish. We know who it is. No random group would coordinate attacks like this, and sure spout it as bigotry. This is it, enough innocent people have died for nothing man, is it wrong to be sick of this shit?

90% chance that it is. Think about it. If you can name me another group of radicals that would have the ability to cause that much damage, or would even think of putting themselves on the map like that because of their attack, then I'm all ears.

I'll wait for confirmed sources than just a few idgits tweeting. Plus the link is acting goofy.

And no, you can be sick of it. There is a difference though between wanting ISIS dead and wanting just some random Muslim dead.

Acting on emotions and reactions is the wrong way to go about anything remotely similar to this.

I believe any more of this senseless killing will turn to unity yes. But I said this before, I'm no official, I'm just a man with an opinion, even if it really isn't correct.

Plus, why do we need a government over there? Tell me the reasons so I can agree/disagree, silly request but this is how we learn.

Look at all of the governments that fell in the Arab Spring. Barring Egypt, they're hot beds for terrorism (Egypt just went from dictator, to president, right back to dictator with more hatred for Muslims). It's not pretty, but those countries ruled with an iron fist were more stable than it without them.

It's really a choice of picking your poison. If you expect a real, positive solution, I don't know if you'll find an answer anytime soon.

Honestly, a better way to do things would be to box them in. Shut down all flights. Cut off internet. Seal the borders of countries. You let nobody in or out.

Even you commented. ISIS accounts claiming it was their show on twitter. How long do you put up with that shit? Cut them off, box them in, and let them sort their own shit out in their shithole of a country.

Of course that'll never happen. Oil in the East and neighboring countries and "unstable" politics.

At this point, nobody's going to make the right move and there's no nice, clean, or simple way outta this mess. This shit's going to go for decades.

The thing that nobody really seems to see or rightfully acknowledge, is that you're not fighting people at this point. ISIS is a guerilla group, yes, but at their core, ISIS is an idea.

Ideas are notoriously difficult to fight. Especially when practitioners of said faith aren't afraid to die for it. If I watch all the government policies and actions being taken place on ISIS, they're all just countermeasures based on warfare. Bombers. Troops. Checkpoints. Security.

But you can't screen a person for ideas. A soldier can't spot somebody who harbours an idea in silence, out of view. And a bomber sure as fuck won't ever scour and scorch all the earth to remove people who hold an ideal.

That seems to be where everybody goes wrong at this point. You can't fight the people. You have to fight the idea. And the best way to fight an idea, is to prevent its spread. Like I said to Batch. Close borders. Cut off flights. Cut out internet and communication. Hell, start deporting people if you have to.

But bunch Islamic faith up, back where it came from, box it in, and starve it of the resources it can use to grow and spread.
