TFA was overhyped and everybody was sugar-high after seeing it. Same thing happened with Episode I.

TFA is a good movie. The prequels were just mediocre in general. Who in their right mind would walk out of the theater after seeing Episodes 1, 2, or 3 and say "Yeah, that was a great movie"? I do hope we see another Bladerunner, while it is doing poor as far as money goes, it's getting great reviews. Better than the original. It has made back it's $150M budget. Barely though. I wouldn't be surprised if it at least gets to 200-250 Million. The original costed around 28 Million, and only made 33 Million.

I wasn't trying to imply they were similar, It's just that the hate bandwagon thing is something that just happens for no reason these days.

I just think that there's a reason for why people "turned" on TFA. Reasons 2049 really doesn't share.
