I mean, how could they allow themselves to be enslaved the way they were? Why didn't they rebel and gain their freedom (not beg for it) like every other race did when oppressed?

I've known plenty of kids growing up poor without parents, they've become soldiers, business owners, respectable people. They try. Blacks don't try, on the average. They just don't make that effort.
