Beta testing: Sep7agon Supporter Nameplate

Inspired by the idea of longface to donate to Sep7agon, why not include a nameplate for donating? So I went ahead and gave this a try:

The only reason why I can't test it myself is because I'm Heroic. So pretty much anyone that's legendary/mythic. Can you test this out and leave feedback?

Notes: Originally the supporter nameplate was going to include the original Sep7agon nameplate but with the word "supporter" added right next to it, but that seemed too dull.

The color was gold at first during editing, but I figured that would match the color of the admins too much confusing people, so I went with green as in the color of money.

Any feedback is appreciated. I don't know if Cheat will ever implement a donation system for sep7agon, but I like the idea of having a nameplate for a year or 2 and then the nameplate expires, the bonus would also be that you have no ads. Of course the nameplate would be toggled, but when the nameplate expires you'd have to donate for example $25 for one year to get it back. It would be setup as a request nameplate option only except you donate instead of giving a reason to get the nameplate.

So yeah, let me know what you guys think about this.

Update: Version 2 now available. The change is I decreased the bit of the glow and made the color scheme more of the original instead. I did not alter colors this time. I used the color picker to get the glow color to match the color of the actual sep7agon logo.

Update 2: Made another version favoring back to the green. New logo used instead of the Sep7agon logo itself. I really don't know what I'm doing anymore lol.

Update 3: Revised it a bit.

Update 4: New logo, changed the green a bit.Took about an hour.

Update 5: Changed the glow from green to red. Replaced the logo with just a heart.

Update 6: Made it pink, it's what Cheat wanted.

Update 7: Toned down the glow because making the heart transparent didn't work.

I like it too. Oh and if anyone uses it that's Legendary or Mythic and they're NOT an actual supporter. You can just ban them or something. I dunno. That is if anyone gets bothered by that.

I saw it in a light blue version, and then it looked good.

Tblocks's color backdrop was red, and yeah he just changed it around for a test.

Kinda wish Heroic could have custom nameplates again. :/

Thanks. I did my best, but Cheat thought it was tacky and didn't like it. So now I'm just doing nameplates. For the supporter nameplate I went with Century Gothic Bold and all caps because Cheat loves Century Gothic like that. That's the same font that the current banners use.

Well, it would be a togglable perk. You don't have to equip it if you donate it, but if you didn't donate or you stopped donating, you would need to donate if you want the nameplate.

But yeah, I tried my best. I just wish I could test out my own nameplates honestly. That way I wouldn't have to have others do it.

Now, I'll be clear that the reason the new Sep7agon logo was reversed, and the color it has, and why it appears like that in all the various videos and images since its conception is because it's Sep7agon's style.

So taking the heptagon and turning it green, using a different font, a completely horrendous kerning and an all-caps on bars that are mixed case is simply silly. It just goes against Sep7agon's style.

I just strongly suggest not to use this nameplate or any nameplate or form of the logo that is modified outside from the original form, colors, kerning, and whatever else that strays it from what it is. So, if you want to propose a nameplate design for that kind of role you should take a different approach, and I am sure that people here will have solid ideas.

PS: I am also working on a style guideline for Sep7agon, and I plan it on having it done soon with the updated header for the sake of consistency and style.

Deci, I actually do like what you're doing here with the green one. I have a user theme I've been wanting to use for a rank for a while, but it was very bright and too official-looking for a regular prefix/rank.

I'd ask that you post a few more of the green ones with the bold off, just for reference. Also, your spacing in-between characters is a bit off, especially with the septagon in the middle. Fix that in the new plates as well and you may be onto something.

EDIT: but yeah, Isara might have a small point with the use of the icon. I'd try out a few different options if I were you and see if you can find anything that works.
