Being completely unknown by the general population of my school

You know how everyone always wants to be popular?

Shit nigga, I'm the opposite. But only until now have I realized how unknown I was lmao. It's actually kind of funny.

Sure, I'm known by a large group of people, but by the general population of my school (and half my class) I'm completely unknown. It's pretty entertaining.

How many of you know that unknown by the world feel. It's not depressing, or sad, it's pretty chill really.

Why wouldn't you want to be popular? It was great.

The only downside is you have people calling you to go out when you'd rather just chill and play some halo. But even then, I'd rather have that than have no one know me or want to hang with me.

There's no popularity at my College (or any College as far as I know). People just hang in groups and don't care for anyone elses group.

I didn't say I don't have plenty of people to hang out with, plus, I don't really hang out with people from my school. I have a group of friends I've had for long before I hit Highschool

My high school was about 1000, I knew everyone in my year, but not everyone in the school. College was 4000, so I only knew people in my classes, and the people I hanged out with.

In 6th form (Comparative to final year of high school, I think) as the "Irish guy" or "[My Bro]'s Brother" it was pretty odd when they pointed at you like a celebrity when I had no idea who they were, particularly from the junior years.

I was known by pretty much the entire senior class when I was in high school. I wasn't "popular", but everyone who I got in a conversation with knew my name without me having to tell them.

Pretty sure a lot of it comes from how outspoken I was politically, and my being in the jazz band and orchestra.

I was that enigmatic kid in high school with only a small, very close-knit group of friends. Other than me being the twin brother of my socially popular sister, nothing else was known about me.

It was peaceful being so invisible.

I need to stand out. Not necessarily be popular, but I have the overwhelming desire to be known.

One of my favorite feelings is when I meet someone I've never met before(from school or mutual friends) and they say "oh yeah I've seen you around bro!" or "I know you you're that big guy who goes to ____" or whatever.

Probably some insecurity compensation but I'm not complaining
