Everywhere. Some of the work I do for the sake of it, for no money, because I'm helping people. But I get my main income from taking work shifts in the family restaurant and taking contract work for builders and carpenters in the area.

I do small stuff too. Somebody need a fridge carried up the stairs? For 20 bucks I'll have it done.

If I do stuff like that in rapid succession the money can add up quickly.

I work at a retirement place, dining division, its alright, just about all of my coworkers are nice and minus a handful of residents they're all nice people.

My usual method of saving works as such. 50% of what I make gets put into a safe, the other half is for spending on whatever I wish. That can only ever happen if I make excess. Which, by most accounts, I do. At the moment however, the stream of things required to be paid outnumbers my ability to make excess. And the safe took some big hits last year.

It's all fine and dandy to say "just save up." Try doing that when there's no expense that you can shave off and the costs go higher.

I can handle it though. I might be broke due to demand but I can juggle money well. I'm good at setting aside bits and pieces for stuff that arises later. Broke but not "in trouble" broke.

I feel like I'm never going to be able to move out...at least not any time soon. Will be 24 in a few months and won't have my own place.
