There's a FUCK ton of mental related links and issues that kids have with their parents. The fact that Roman's dad, bitching at him, rather than acting like a decent fucking human being and what a family member should be, is, and likely has left him with an inferiority complex and low self esteem.

It's not so much about blaming his dad, as it is standing up to him.

If you can learn to stand up to your father, no matter how shitty he is, and say "NO, fuck you, you're the one that's fucked, and I'm going to do better than you, and be better than you what you made me," then it breaks a strangle hold and a mental block.

It's like getting rid of an anvil strapped to your back.

Roman, I agree with both Mr. Psychologist and Sandtrap. You need to talk to a professional.

And as a long side note: I have read your threads since the days of Bungie: in that Flood spin-off group to RA to the mains. You use these forums as a platform to complain about issues you are afraid to tackle head on. You feel like a loser in real life, so you turn to the forums where a bunch of strangers largely ridicule you. Because what is better than being a real-life loser with no one to talk to and who gets attention from no one? An online-loser that gets negative attention from strangers.

You need to stop looking for a quick fix and address your problems head on. You are never going to find instant happiness. It does not exist in some fantasy woman, career or lifestyle. The only way to find and maintain happiness is in yourself. You need to find your own inspiration.

Appreciate what you DO have: an education, a job, a home and a family. None of those things may be perfect, but you have them.

If you're like me and the potential for a good Work Ethic and talent is there, but you're just stuck on a Career choice and have zero motivation to do anything, don't worry too much about it. It should just be a passing phase, but in the meantime try and take any job opportunities that come your way, if only for the sake of moving into a more enjoyable field and earning an Income.
