SecondClass: 2/10
oh, you never specified who we're supposed to be ratingclass gets a 9/10 for using a particularly nice photo of an otherwise mediocre actress10/10s are only for people who have completely original avatars, though--not pictures of somebody else, which is borderline creepy
casper's is a solid 9/10great memes
how is using a picture of your role model creepy? How is drawing a picture of a naked elite (completely original) less creepy than a publicly available representation of an idol?

How is drawing a picture of a naked elite (completely original) less creepy than a publicly available representation of an idol?it's creepy because you're literally taking someone's face and using it to represent you, when you're not them--i just find that really creepy on a visceral leveli wouldn't even use trent reznor as an avatar--it almost seems disrespectfuli'm just saying--if i were a famous celebrity, i'd be really disturbed to find people using my face as an avatar on backwater internet forumsalso, vien did not come up with elites, so it's not completely original--i'd give his avatars a 1-3/10 on average just for being tasteless and borderline autistic, if it makes you feel better--it's not that i find his avatars less creepy; i think they're beyond creepy, but that doesn't mean i'd give it a 10/10 just for originalityi could give a completely original avatar a 1/10, if i thought it sucked hard enough--but the highest score an unoriginal avatar could ever get in my book is a 9/10
With that logic you're disrespecting Tajiri by using a Pokemon avatar when you didn't create Pokemon. Makes no sense.
I didn't even think of the fact that not everyone would want an actual picture of themselves, publicly available or not, to be used as an avatar for some stranger on the internet, though. That's a good point.I don't think the general practice of it is disrespectful, but if someone doesn't want it used in that way and you continue to, unknowingly or not, it could be.
