I'm happy they're just making a movie. Since it's a foreign film I'm not too picky on casting choices. I'm sure it'll turn out fine. The rpg is random though.

I guess a reason for it could be that they wouldn't have an easy time finding enough western actors that speak fluent enough japanese to do the filming. That would be a nicer answer and the more probable one is just the general xenophobic mentality japan has.

But that being said, when M night shatupon can cast all the heroes of TLA as white americans and all of the bad guys as indians... it's not easy to point fingers >_>

The size of the walls make it very difficult for it to be in Europe. If you look on the site about how large the outer wall is, you'll see that it's like 1/4 the size of America.
