It's going back to Marvel so Disney can make more money. Not complaining though, The MArvel Star Wars comics in the 70's and 80's were amazing.

They are Legends. They can become canon at a moments notice if someone in the story team decides they need something to be canon. IE: Lightsaber forms in Star Wars Rebels.
