"Hipster" has become meaningless due to it being used to describe anyone who doesn't like what you like.

Lots of people consider me a hipster, because I hate everything, and the stuff I tend to like is stuff no one's ever heard of, or was otherwise meant for niche audiences. This applies to my music taste more than anything.

I remember when somebody on Bungie.net thought I was a hipster for living out in a wilder area and that I wanted to build my own house and wasn't afraid to do a shit ton of work on my own.

On the subject, no. I don't think I've ever even seen a hipster up here before.

The cold likely kills them off pretty well.

Globally, I think the movement has subsided.

Unfortunately, there is still a large concentration of hipsters up here.
