I can't just shove $15,000 in the hole to buy an old Bricklin, or a Galaxie 500.

but fyi i'm still on my learner's permit for a few months and my insurance on my current car isn't nearly that bad (though i put it away for the winter and such so maybe that has something to do with it) and its around the same level of price and worth as the bricklin.

what? i already do that. i didn't graduate high school so my folks make me pay rent or they'll kick me out again (and considering my job for the next year at least is stationed in this city it just makes good sense). and because i'm a vegan i'm forced to buy my own food, too.

I only make about $17,000

In Syrup scented scratch n sniff stickers that comes out to:

13k-19k out of 22k

You can probably expect to spend 1/5 of what I spend at the grocery store though, since I usually feed five people, or more since we have company almost daily. In all, I can see where you'd have money to waste on superficial things, but please don't pretend anyone else does.

No, I was held for thirty days because I didn't have money for bail.

in canada we have the g system

g1 -- can only drive with someone who has had their full g license for over 4 years

g2 (what i have) -- don't need anyone to drive with you, restriction-less after 6 months. must be renewed within 4 years of earning

g license -- full license, after 4 years you can drive with a g1 holder


i'm eligible for my full license and i could get it very easily by going into the store, but i just haven't found the time. the g2 is functionally the same as the full g.
