Just watch Spy instead.
SOMEBODY PULLED THE FIRE ALARM
It was "meh" for me. Some cool ideas but very poor execution and little to no suspense. It also amazes me how 20+ years later, the effects from the original still are leagues better.

Merge the two together just right and you'll have something that can stand the test of time.Case and point. Terminator 2.
i haven't seen any of the others, so should i do that first, or does it matter

Terminator 2.Jurassic World uses practical and CGI effects thoughThere was like one scene with a dinosaur that wasn't CGI

Just seen it. Thought the kids were horribly written (though i can't think of a movie where kids aren't annoying pos).SpoilerThought it was good up until the end. I couldn't maintain suspension of disbelief with that woman out running a T-Rex in heels for like 800ft and the lone raptor tagging in to help Big T get back up. I liked how Spike died though. Also, the transition of how the raptors acted to Pratt was poorly done. From trying to eat him to hunting, back to etrying to eating him then after they catch him staring into his eyes and turning good again.7/10First JP is 9/10 in comparison.
Fury Road is a contemporary example of the two meshing well together.

Even after the Indominus Rex became the alpha, the raptor in the field (the one that got blown up by an RPG) didn't make any attempt to attack him. At the end, when it was literally him or the Rex, they chose the one they had imprinted on when they were hatched: Owen.

Just because they didn't instantly attack him doesn't mean they were pals. At the end, the one raptor waited to eat the fat guy when he put his hand up to plead as well, before eating his arm off and the rest of him.
