Or whether "Belgium" was in Montana or another state (after careful consideration, she decided it couldn't have been in Montana because she knew here own state pretty well). The American ignorance thing is a petty joke and stupid stereotype, but all of the time I've spent in the US generally has only supported these stereotypes.

To be fair, at this point I've been to Montana, New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Utah, Wyoming, Virginia and Colarado. Not even close to all of the US, of course, but definitely more than just a single state.
