I've seen so many old photos/videos...

I've seen so many old photos and videos that in my mind I associate the olden days with just being in black and white. I find it quite difficult to visualize it being in color IRL back then.Even when I think of real life stuff happening in the olden days, I see it in black and white.

Does that make sense? Does anyone else experience this?

Yeah, I think it's normal to have trouble visualizing that far back in the past without subconsciously picturing it as black and white. All of the film from those eras is black and white, so it's really all your mind has to go off of.

I've been like that since I was a kid (when I legit thought pre-1960-'70 was black and white)

I don't have that issue due to modern movies/games/media in general showing it in color
