I can't use an image in my signature? That blows, you all blow.
Since I am getting a bit of income in now it's starting to enter my mind as a consideration. Thinking something small bore. Probably a bolt action that I can eventually scope. Can't decide between .17 HMR or .22 WMR



.22 WMR has more mass, but .17 HMR has more velocity.
.17 HMR is great for varmint hunting up to Coyotes
.22 WMR is also great for varming hunting up to Coyotes.
Both are about the same price for ammo
Both are about the same price for a rifle



OR I can get an AR15 lower and build it over a year or so.

But all that shit is considerably more expensive. I can start building an AR for 300 or I can get a little .17 or .22 WMR bolt gun and have a range toy the next week.

5.56 and 7.62x39 are on the list, but till I get a bit more income coming in they are on hold. It can get expensive to feed an AR, AK? Not so much, brown bear and Tula are 7 bucks a box here. But that's not the god damn point god dammit.

Yeah, and it's a hot little round too. Something like 2400 fps out of a rimfire cartridge.
