Star Gazing

Do you guys have good views from your city or town?
What do you contemplate or feel when looking above?

Light pollution obscures the vast majority of stars, but I have it better than in a big city. Getting away from the lights is relatively easy, compared to said cities.

There's always a sense of longing for greater experience whenever I star gaze.
They're personal motivational factors, yet there's also this feeling of futility, like I won't be able to comprehend them all regardless of how much time I spend trying to appreciate them. They have a sort of numinous quality overall.

I have to go out into the mountains about 50 miles away to get a nice view of the stars at night.

theres a 3D program on my computer that i use to get the coordinates of basically any celestial object from the mother fuckin space database

i input the coordinates into the telescope and it autonomously zooms into the whatever the fuck i want it to

stargazing is amazing

But I don't get the best view from where I live unfortunately

I don't see much, but the little I see is incredible.

I think of the heights that are reached. The distance from where I am, to that little light in the sky.
How it all came to be. How these solar systems, stars and planets are just floating through the universe, colliding with each other.
