How did you do the hexagon effect?

I'm guessing they're the Avengers, Black Mesa and Aperture Science logos, so presumably you applied some kind of effect to them via Photoshop.

How?

It's Filters>Distortions>Mosaic in GIMP, plus a few other effects in some places like Olify, Soft Glow and transparency.
