How did your gum open?Did you eat something that tore it, or was it somehow caused by the infection?

I ate it on the wrong side because I felt a sharp pain while I was chewing on it. I shrugged it off and didn't let it get to me. I knew what had happened, but I didn't think the consequences would be severe, until 2 days later. The bottom left side swelled up again and it was noticeable too.

That one was hard to keep in my mouth for awhile. Listerine is a little bit easier. It's not that bad. I can handle it. I rather have the burn of alcohol in my mouth than have another infection.
