My mom was and is a very gorgeous but vain woman. Looks like those moms you see on beauty magazines. Places a huge emphasis on appearance. Has tons of jewelry and nice clothing. She is an absolute sweetheart with a kind soul especially for animals and children but she can also be extremely cold if she gets angry. Like very hurtful cold. Comes from a family of doctors/lawyers/dentists/engineers so she has this underlying sense of superiority. We either get along amazingly or clash hard there's no inbetween.

My dad is the opposite. Kinda ugly TBH lol. Came from a pretty poor family, they had like 30 people in one tiny house when he was a kid. Most hardworking man I know. Doesn't give af about what he wears/appearance. Manly and badass when he was younger. Used to ride a motorcycle and get in bar fights. Kind of a goober, makes silly mistakes. Pretty relaxed and carefree.
