it was a legitimate argument after BvS came out. that movie was like a 5/10 maybe 6 with the ultimate edition (RT average ratings seem to agree with me since it sits at 4.9) but everyone acted like it was the single worst superhero movie of all time because it didnt live up to the hype. it was still better than a few marvel films (thor 2, iron man 3, ultron namely)

after BvS people gave up completely on the DC franchise and wrote off Suicide Squad well before it ever premiered (it did turn out to be godawful but the sheer level of prejudice levied against it during the marketing campaign was just bizarre) and the same thing has been happening with Wonder Woman and Justice League

since SS turned out to be such a turd i think it's somewhat more reasonable to keep expectations low but the general vibe of "DC movies suck dick and will never be good" is still a little weird to me

I for one enjoyed BvS but haven't been able to see SS yet. Although anyone shitting on the Justice League over one trailer is literally a MarvelFag upset that the movie isn't a SitCom with super heroes and some fighting in between jokes and exposition.

DC and Marvel make different types of films and there will be people who dislike both

Save Spiderman, I prefer DC 100%.

Their theatrical movies suck, and will continue to so long as they keep their winning combination of Zack "Choke Her and Hide Her" Snyder, market testing, and constant reshoots. I want to believe a good DC movie can happen, but that will only happen once they pull the plugs out of their assholes and let the franchise embrace some of the goofier and light-hearted qualities of the comics. I'm not saying to go full Marvel, but just let Supes be the Big Blue Boy-scout. Barry doesn't have to have pockets filled with spaghetti to be a goofy and lovable guy.

Batfleck is fine tho.
